The Milwaukee Brewers have set a morning drive-through pep rally Friday that will give fans an early chance to snag postseason tickets, before they officially go on sale Sept. 20.

The "Postseason Prep Rally" runs from 6 to 9 a.m. at American Family Field, with a litany of Wisconsin sports personalities on hand, and fans who show up will receive a Brewers car flag plus early postseason ticket access before they go on sale later that morning.

Tickets for the wild-card round of the playoffs only go on sale at 10 a.m. That's a playoff level likely to feature the Brewers, who are currently in position to appear in the wild-card round unless they can leapfrog Philadelphia or Los Angeles over the final two weeks of the season. The Brewers are about to clinch the division title, but as the division winner with the third-best record, they'd have to start in the best-of-three wild-card round, with games held Oct. 1-3, all at American Family Field.

If the Brewers do bypass the Phillies or Dodgers, they would advance straight into the divisional round into a best-of-five series, with home games Oct. 5 and 6. Those who purchase wild-card tickets will have an early crack at purchasing divisional round games, but those tickets will officially go on sale at a later date.

Tickets and parking passes for games that do not wind up taking place will convert into refunds back onto the original credit card.

Among the personalities expected to attend are Brewers manager Pat Murphy, Brewers legend Robin Yount, Packers Hall of Famer Donald Driver, Milwaukee Bucks legend Sidney Moncrief, former UW men's basketball player Brian Butch, Wisconsin football standout Tarek Saleh and Wisconsin women's hockey player Casey O'Brien, plus Admirals mascot Roscoe and Brewers mascots.

Fans can get their car flag and will be given a QR code to access postseason tickets. The first 5,000 fans in line will receive a car flag (and some Johnsonville bratwurst). The Brewers need some combination of wins or Cubs losses equaling three to officially win the Central division. That's on target to happen either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
