Packers receiver Dontayvion Wicks has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury

Cardinals settle for field goal on opening second half drive

Two completions in the middle of the field to McBride totaling 25 yards and a 20-yard run by Trey Benson give the Cardinals a 1st and 10 at the Packers 25, but two penalties back the Cardinals up to the 39 and force a second and 19, after a 13-yard reception by Mercado, Murray overthrows Xavier Weaver in the end zone. A 40-yard field goal by Ryland gives the Cardinals 13 straight points.

    Love has strong first half

Receiver Dontayvion Wicks has a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

Cardinals get field goal after interception, cut lead to 24-10 at half

On 2nd and 5 from the 37, costly slip by Packers receiver Bo Melton results in an interception and gives the Cardinals an opportunity to get more points at the end of the half. However, a holding penalty backs up the Cardinals up 10 yards at the Green Bay 48. Murray completes a pair of passes for 21 total yards to get the ball to the GB 27. A toss to Wilson on 3rd and 2 gives the Cardinals a first down at the 24 with 20 seconds left. After a timeout, Murray throws a hurried incompletion. Murray finds Emil Demercardo for nine yards to the 15, but movement on the Cardinals' offensive line backs the Cardinals up five yards. Murray throws incomplete to the end zone to force a 38-yard field goal from Chad Ryland. The Packers lead 24-10 at halftime .

Penalty on Alexander helps Cardinals get on the board

An unnecessary roughness penalty on Jaire Alexander sets up the Cardinals at midfield and two plays later, a 27-yard completion from Murray to McBride gives the Cardinals a first and goal inside the 10. A holding penalty backs up the Cardinals to the 18, but Murray finds Michael Wilson in the end zone and the Cardinals get on the board with 1:56 to go in the quarter.

Watson TD gives Packers commanding 24-0 lead

The Packers force another three-and out and then are fortunate when Jayden Reed fumbles the ball on the punt return. The Packers lose the fumble, but offsetting plays wipe the play out. The Packers get the ball after a re-kick at the Arizona 44 and Love immediately strikes, throwing a 44-yard dart to Watson for another score. with 4:32 left in the quarter.

    Packers take 17-0 lead

The Packers line up to go for it before calling timeout. Love takesa shotgun snap and lofts the ball over the middle into a tight window, but Christian Watson makes the grab and the Packers have a first down at the Ariozna 22. Hpwever the Packers stall at the 18 and Brayden Narveson kicks a 36-yard field goal.

Green Bay defense gets off the field quickly

Murray and the Cardinals continue to struggle, running just three plays including an ugly incompletion across the field on third down due to pressure form the Packers.

Romeo Doubs returns to the Packers offense with a 19-yard catch on first down. Three plays later, a short grab and run by Emmanuel Wilson nets another 19 yards and a first down at the Arizona 42. Wilson gains seven yards on the next snap and then Love finds Wicks for nine yards. Jacobs returns and gains 11 total yards on a run and a reception putting the ball at the Arizona 15. Love finds Doubs at the 2-yard line and he breaks a tackle to get in the end zone. The Packers take a 14-0 lead. They had the ball for over 11 minutes in the first quarter.

    Cardinals' offense again stumbles

The Cardinals start from the 35 and Murray finds running back John Connor for nine yards. He then gets two carries for 12 more yards and the Cardinals cross midfield. However, a mixup on a short throw on 2nd down between Murray and Connor sets up a third and long and Keisean Nixon breaks up Murray's throw on third down to stall a somewhat promising drive. The punt goes in the end zone and the Packers will start from the 20.

Reed's touchdown reception gives Packers 7-0 lead

A 14-yard run by Josh Jacobs on the opening snap of the series and a neutral zone infraction get the ball to the 25. Penalty gives Packers good field position after defense forces three-and out

The Cardinals start at their own 8-yard line after a 46-yard punt by Daniel Whelan and the Cardinals look disjointed on their opening three plays as on third down and 9, quarterback Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr have a miscommunication on the pass route. The Packers get excellent field position when due to a 15-yard face mask call on Jayden Reed's return. The Packers begin at the Arizona 44 with 11:26 left in the first quarter.

Packers' opening drive stalls after one first down.

Quarterback Jordan Love gets a 1st and 5 from the 35 on the Packers' first drive due to the defense jumping. Two plays later, a short four-yard completion to Jayden Reed gives the Packers a first down. at the 41, but two incompletions, including one on 3rd and 5 throw that is out of Dontayvion Wicks' reach forces a punt.

Alexander, Watson, Doubs all active for Packers

Cornerback Jaire Alexander and receiver Christian Watson are active against the Cardinals . Alexander missed the last two games because of a groin injury. Watson was out only last week's game because of an ankle injury.

Watson's return coincides with Romeo Doubs' return to the field after being suspended last week for conduct detrimental to the team. Together, they will give quarterback Jordan Love a full compliment of targets.

Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt is the only starter inactive.
