The increase in issuing parking tickets while increasing revenue to the city isn’t the solution to the city’s monetary woes ( “Milwaukee plans to issue more parking tickets ,” Oct. 18). And increasing the five major user’s fees would fall on the back of property owners. Many property owners cannot afford any more taxes.

People are fleeing the city because the various taxes, service fees and wheel taxes are not affordable to the elderly. Not to mention the burden of Milwaukee Public Schools always asking for more money.

Both the city and county got the increase in sales tax they wanted. Enough is enough!

    Stephen Savic, Milwaukee

Opinion: UW-Milwaukee won't retain top status with more cuts. Wisconsin could fall behind.

Opinion: Milwaukee should use this budgeting method to empower more communities

This is on the states legislators and the laws, that they have passed now it have nothing or little of nothing, to do with Madame VP Harris but she has still said, that she will deal with national price gouging. Once she becomes the president and Trump never did say that he would, take on any kind of regulation whatsoever and it is what it is.
