The flawless summer weather will continue Tuesday with a high around 80 and mostly sunny skies. Wednesday will be more of the same followed by some rain and maybe a thunderstorm Thursday.

It's election day

Don't forget to vote Tuesday.

If you feel like this election kind of snuck up on you, don't worry. Political reporters Hope Karnopp and Rachel Hale have put together some helpful guides about what you'll see on your ballots .

Wisconsin voters will weigh in on two referendum questions and narrow down candidates for the U.S. Congress, the state Legislature and some county races .

This election is the second-to-last in Wisconsin in 2024. The candidates who advance from this election will appear on the Nov. 5 ballot, which of course will also include the presidential contest .

Turnout isn't expected to be super high, but state constitutional amendment questions on Wisconsin's ballot could affect child care, providers warned . If that's an important issue for you, it's worth finding time to vote.

Interested in birding? Milwaukee's a great place to start

Many may not realize it, but the Cream City, with its publicly accessible lakefront and parks, is a great place to be a birder .

While summer may seem like it just got started, the season is already starting to shift for Milwaukee’s feathered friends. Fall migration is about to pick up in the Great Lakes, which sits in between two of North America’s bird super highways, the Atlantic and Mississippi flyways where millions of birds fly through treks throughout the hemisphere.

So when will the fall migration happen? Where are the best spots to check out birds? And what are the benefits of birding? Reporter Caitlin Looby breaks it all down in her latest story.

And if you're still a little wary about jumping into birding, you can always start with some free bird apps like eBird and Merlin Bird ID .
