    Erik's Bike Shop is closing its location on Milwaukee's east side

    Minnesota-based Erik's Bike Shop will close its east side location and move to Brookfield in the fall, the company announced.

    The shop, at 1819 E. Kenilworth Place, will close Sept. 15. Erik's in Brookfield will open late 2024. The company has not yet released the location for the Brookfield store.

    Erik's east side location opened in 2015 ; the Minnesota-based company has more than 32 locations across the Midwest. The chain is one of the country's largest dealers of specialized bikes.

    Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, you can visit its website at eriksbikeshop.com .

    • Greenfield: 8401 W. Layton Ave.
    • Glendale: 598 W. Bayshore Drive
    • Grafton: 1275 Washington St.
