    Four games decided by a single score for Milwaukee area top 10 high school football teams in Week 2

    Two top-three ranked teams in the area fell by a single score, while other top high school football teams asserted themselves in the second and final week of nonconference play. Here is how our top 10 teams fared in Week 2.

    1. Franklin (2-0)

    Franklin blew out Brookfield Central, 38-15, on the road to sweep its nonconference slate. Next: at Racine Case, Friday.

    2. Kettle Moraine (1-1)

    The Lasers were shut out in a 6-0 loss to Appleton East on the road Thursday night. Next: vs. Oconomowoc, Friday.

    3. Badger (1-1)

    A late rally by the Badgers came up just short, as they fell 35-33 to Slinger after a stalled two-point try in the final two minutes. Next: vs. Union Grove, Friday.

    4. Muskego (2-0)

    The Warriors overcame a second-half deficit for the second time in as many weeks, scoring 21 unanswered after trailing 10-7 in the third quarter to beat Oak Creek on the road, 28-10. Next: vs. Pewaukee, Friday.

    5. Sussex Hamilton (1-1)

    It was an empty road trip for the Chargers, who fell 21-14 at Oconomowoc. Next: at Waukesha West, Friday.

    6. Arrowhead (1-1)

    Arrowhead fell by a field goal, 24-21, on the road at Homestead. Next: vs. Mukwonago, Friday.

    7. Cedarburg (2-0)

    The Bulldogs won 35-7 over Wauwatosa West on the road. Next: at West Bend West, Friday.

    8. Grafton (1-1)

    Grafton earned a get-right victory at home in blowout fashion, winning 45-6 over Port Washington. Next: vs. Whitnall, Friday.

    9. Port Washington (1-1)

    The Pirates had a rough short road trip south to Grafton, losing 45-6. Next: at Lakeside Lutheran, Friday.

    10. Marquette (1-1)

    The Hilltoppers bounced back from a Week 1 loss to Arrowhead with a 31-12 home win over Fond du Lac. Next: at Brookfield East, Friday.
