    Wreckless driving on Brown Deer Road results in fatal collision

    Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at approximately 3:27 p.m., on the 9500 block of W. Brown Deer Rd.

    Unit #1 was traveling westbound on W. Brown Deer Rd., and changing lanes when it collided with Unit #2, according to police.

    Unit #1 allegedly lost control, left the roadway and collided with a traffic post, a street lamp and a tree.

    Unit #1 rolled over and collided with a chain link fence.

    The driver of Unit #1, a 31-year-old, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

    The driver of Unit #2, a 22-year-old male, received medical attention for a minor injury on scene, and left prior to law enforcement arrival. The driver of Unit #2 was located at 10:25 p.m., on the 3800 block of N. 27th St., and was taken into custody.

    Charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
