    Fourth of July weekend was no exception to this year's rainy Wisconsin summer. After a relatively sunny start to the holiday weekend, much of the state saw scattered rain throughout Sunday.

    In Milwaukee, forecasts called for a 34% to 36% chance of afternoon and evening rain, and some communities around the city ended up experiencing more than an inch of rain. Southeastern Wisconsin was hit with the heaviest rainfall on Sunday.

    • Racine: 0.35 inches
    • Muskego: 0.49 inches
    • Milwaukee: 0.56 inches
    • Post Washington: 0.61 inches
    • West Allis: 0.92 inches
    • Wauwatosa: 1.05 inches
    • New Berlin: 1.26 inches
    • Waukesha: 1.46 inches

    Other parts of the state also saw rainfall, though not as heavy as the Milwaukee area.
