Photos of a protester armed with a pistol crossbow standing outside the Republican National Convention have begun floating on X. The owner reportedly said they weren't planning on using it.

"I don’t like violence. But I also don’t wanna die. I’m hoping it’s not going to be needed," they said. Another individual said they were in possession of a 9mm pistol. These individuals are taking part in a demonstration meant to display dismay with the RNC being held in Milwaukee , a largely Democratic city.

The protest seems to have drawn a decent crowd of more than 100 demonstrators, according to Sean Beckner-Carmitchel, a videographer based in Los Angeles.

Carmitchel has observed the colorful crowd and began reporting his findings on X not long after. The demonstration has brought in a truck displaying a message that portrays former president Donald Trump as a false prophet.

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolfs," the bright-yellow sign reads. A black and white picture of Trump is also seen under the words "don't speak for me."

One woman, from Las Vegas who said she disagreed with the "extreme MAGA agenda" showed off her Donald Trump hand puppet, which has messy, bright yellow hair and eyebrows, angry blue eyes and a creepy scowl. "We're here to protest a candidate who has 34 felony counts and to make America fun again, mocking Trump's campaign slogan.

The anti-Trump jokes continued as the woman explained her disdain of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. The interview closed with her Trump puppet asking "where can I get a glass of classified document?"

Counter protesters affiliated with a group called Progressives Anti-Abortion Uprising(PAAU) began confronting demonstrators marching is disdain of the Milwaukee RNC. The counter protesters pushed their signs, which read "embryos are people & abortion is murder" and "pro-lifers steal fetuses," into the faces of marchers.

There was also a small amount of shoving. Carmitchel said he was told a protest against abortion was scheduled at the same location later today.
