A lawsuit against the Fiserv Arena and the Deer District brought by a Hales Corner woman who was injured during a Milwaukee Bucks game has been settled.

Pascha Duncan, now 48, attended a Bucks-Lakers game at Fiserv Arena in Milwaukee on March 19, 2019, and slipped on melted macho cheese sauce. She fell on her knees and hands to the floor.

Duncan suffered an injury to one of her legs, as well as hand and shoulder pain due to the impact, according to court documents filed in Milwaukee.

She sued for the cost of her medical bill. The case was dismissed May 25 after a settlement for an undisclosed amount was reached, court records show.

Trips to the doctor for X-rays and therapy sessions followed. Her medical bills mounted to $12,100, with her paying $6,080 out-of-pocket.

The pain left her unable to dress the next day, and progressively got worse over time; Duncan felt like she was "hit by a truck," according to the documents.
