Dr. Ben Carson, former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, took the podium at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Tuesday to discuss the attempt to ruin Trump's reputation, bankruptcy, put him in jail and the assassination attempt.
Carson is a retired neurosurgeon who served as the 17th U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 2017 to 2021 under former president Donald Trump's administration. He and Trump both ran during the 2016 Republican primaries.
Carson endorsed Trump for the 2024 presidency in October 2023 during a speech in Iowa.
“As I stand here today, I want to offer my most confident and full endorsement of Donald J. Trump,” Carson said.
The Republican National Convention is in Milwaukee through Thursday where former President Donald Trump on Thursday will formally accept the party’s nomination for the 2024 Election.
