Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump will both be “coming in full force” to the Republican National Convention, according to former President Trump’s son Eric.

“They’re coming in,” Eric Trump said of the former first lady and his sister, when asked Wednesday by Tony Dokoupil on “CBS Mornings” about their presence at the GOP gathering in Milwaukee.

Neither Ivanka Trump — who hit the campaign trail for her father in 2016 and 2020 and served as a White House senior adviser in his administration — nor Melania Trump have been spotted at the convention since it kicked off Monday.

“They’re coming in full force and effect, so they’ll certainly be here,” Eric Trump said.

“Ivanka’s been an incredible supporter of my father. I think you know that; she’s been in the White House for a four-year period of time and loves him dearly,” the ex-president’s 40-year-old son said.

In 2022, Ivanka Trump said she did “not plan to be involved in politics” in the future and was choosing to prioritize her young children “and the private life we are creating as a family.”

Melania Trump has also kept a low profile since her husband exited the White House. She spoke out on social media this weekend, a day after an assassination attempt against the 45th president at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change,” Melania Trump wrote.

Neither Melania nor Ivanka are currently listed among the speakers expected to deliver remarks at the convention.

In his Wednesday interview, Eric Trump said, “There’s no family I don’t think in political history that’s remained closer than our family.”

“They’ve done everything to try and destroy this family. They’ve done everything they could to try and break up this family, to separate this family, in so many ways with, like, the ruthless attacks,” he told Dokoupil.

“And we’re a family that’s cohesive, we are a family that absolutely supports him, that absolutely loves him to death, and I’m honored to stand on that stage.”
