Peter Navarro addressed the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night, just hours after being released from federal prison.
Navarro, a former trade adviser to former President Donald Trump , was introduced to raucous applause at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On Wednesday, he completed a four-month prison sentence in Florida after being convicted of contempt of Congress. Trump himself has also been convicted. In May, the former president was found guilty by a Manhattan jury on 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments to cover up extramarital affairs before the 2016 election. He is under indictment in two other jurisdictions for his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. On Monday, a federal judge in Florida tossed
