Sunday's Milwaukee Brewers game vs. Minnesota Twins won't be on TV. But you can still watch for free.

The Milwaukee Brewers finally return to the field Saturday for the first of two games against the Minnesota Twins, but on Sunday in the series finale, you'll find the game in an unusual place.

The Brewers and Twins game will start at 12:05 p.m. CT — an hour earlier than you might expect, given its location in the Central time zone — and air exclusively on Roku as part of the platform's Sunday Leadoff package.

This is different from many other streaming experiences in that the game will still air for free. It can be found on any Roku device or by downloading the Roku Channel app on Amazon Fire devices, Samsung TVs and Google TVs. It's also available on any computer at therokuchannel.com , with no login required.

The game will also air anywhere blackout-free on the MLB TV app. The game was initially scheduled for 1:05 p.m. CT but moved to the new time in May to accommodate the change in broadcast.

Broadcasters working the game will include a series of familiar faces, including play-by-play man Cory Provus, who's the TV play-by-play announcer for the Twins but spent three seasons in Milwaukee on radio, calling games alongside Bob Uecker from 2009 through 2011.

The analyst will be Tim Dillard, with Sophia Minnaert as the sideline reporter. Both are fixtures on the Brewers' regular Bally Sports Wisconsin TV broadcasts.

Why aren't the Milwaukee Brewers playing a game Friday?

It's an unusual scheduling quirk for the Brewers not to play the Friday after the all-star break, especially as other teams begin play Friday to kick off a three-game weekend series.

But the Brewers happened to draw the Twins right out of the break, and the Twins have been assigned as Milwaukee's interleague "rivalry" opponent. That's typically included a format of two road games and two home games — at different points in the season — rather than simply one series per year, as is the case with other interleague teams.

For most interleague matchups, the teams will alternate who hosts each year. With Milwaukee only needing to play the Twins twice in Minnesota, the series begins Saturday instead.

It's a quirk that's been amended in the 2025 schedule , with the Brewers playing three-game series both home and away against Minnesota.
