Former New York City mayor turned Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani was caught flying first class home from the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last week, despite owing millions of dollars in a lawsuit he lost.

A CNN investigation revealed MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell paid for Giuliani’s first-class ticket to the event. Lindell told the outlet Giuliani is an employee of his media company, FrankSpeech TV, but did not say how much Giuliani was being paid for the job.

“I flew everybody in from my crews and hosts,” Lindell told CNN, noting he flies all his hosts first class for ease of travel. Giuliani reportedly started his job as a host at FrankSpeech TV July 1.

“It’s not like he’s living the life of luxury,” Lindell said of Giuliani. “We’ve got a company thing where that’s just what we do.”

Giuliani currently owes $150 million to creditors, including two Georgia election workers after he lost a defamation lawsuit following the 2020 election when he was working for former President Donald Trump. He also owes $350,000 to a forensic accountant, who was tasked with tracking his expenses.

Last week, it was reported that Giuliani expended half of his bank account in one week, despite owing millions. The Georgia election workers will likely seek the two properties owned by Giuliani, one in New York City and one in Palm Beach, Florida, to satisfy the lawsuit agreement.

Creditors have also been trying to track Giuliani’s purchases around the RNC but have only been able to get a hold of transactions made on Giuliani’s personal debit card, which is not the card he usually uses for purchases. A look into his debit card only revealed two charges for less than $100 at a Milwaukee hotel.

Giuliani’s bankruptcy case was recently dismissed by a judge after creditors said Giuliani was treating “this case and the bankruptcy process as a joke , hiding behind the facade of an elderly, doddering man.”
