It's budget season for the New Smyrna Beach City Commission. With that, the Commission is set to make several key decisions about the budget for the next fiscal year, including deciding their maximum property tax rate. Lane Closures: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., July 29-Aug. 18
There will be road work on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. between W. Fee Ave. and Espanola Way from July 29 until August 18. The work will include alternating lane closures for a sewer connection and street repaving. Work will be done during daylight hours only during business days; however, lane closures shall remain closed overnight for the duration of the work. Traffic should follow all traffic signs and expect delays. The roadway should fully reopen on August 19. Breeze Airways to open a flight crew base in Vero
