Man on minibike arrested following pursuit
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - During a traffic stop, a man on a minibike attempted to flee from officers on Monkhouse Drive. On August 12, just after midnight, the Shreveport Police Department attempted to stop a man on a minibike at the intersection of Hollywood Avenue and Kennedy Street for multiple traffic violations. At first first the man pulled over and appeared to comply but as the officer approached the minibike, the suspect, Johnathan Melton, 32, allegedly fled on his 2019 KYMCO Spade minibike.
