SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - An unknown metal object was discovered in the head of an off-duty Caddo fire department captain who was injured while bush-hogging. On Aug. 13 around 7 p.m., Caddo Fire District 4′s Capt. Freddie Martin was bush-hogging on property in Blanchard when he was hit in the head by an unknown object. The impact knocked Martin unconscious temporarily. He regained consciousness and contacted his wife, who took him to the nearest emergency room.
