Tyler High coach ‘pleasantly pleased’ with Lions' improvement last season
TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The Tyler High Lions are headed into a new district this season and Head Coach Rashaun Woods is hoping to build off the success from last year. “I was pleasantly pleased with how the guys worked,” said Woods. “The place that the Lions were in going into the season, and where we ended up at the end of the season was a tremendous improvement for the program and the community.”
Tyler city council approves new Lake Tyler Master Plan
TYLER, Texas — The city of Tyler approved a contract for the development of the Lake Tyler Master Plan this week. The Tyler city council held a vote on Wednesday for a contract with Halff Associates, Inc. totaling $449,275 to provide the city with a comprehensive list of recommendations for the Lake Tyler Master Plan, which will take into account the city's current and future needs at Lake Tyler and Lake Tyler East.
