Joan Helene Carroll, 84
Joan Helene Carroll, 84, passed away June 20, 2024, at her home. She was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Alameda, Calif., to George and Annie Rachel (Rolleri) Termer.Joan enjoyed reading and cooking. She started the Mineral County Tea Party and was on the board of the Republican Party for 20 years.Joan was preceded in death by Dale Covey Jr. and daughter Bev Covey.She is survived by her husband Robert Carroll, Rocky Sr., Rocky Jr. (Brittany), Robert Jr. (Robin), Eddy Carroll (Stacie), grandchildren Angela, Adam, Robert VI, Tamiko, several great-grandchildren, sisters Margaret, Ilene, Georgia, and Janet, and brother David.Burial will take place at St. Regis Cemetery with brother David Termer officiating. Missoula man convicted of drug trafficking
MISSOULA, Mont. — A Missoula man was convicted by a federal jury of armed methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking in the Missoula area. Keith Andre Green was found guilty of conspiracy to posses with intent to distribute controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes.

The Mineral County Pool in the Park recently took a jump off the “high dive.” Everyone who first braved a leap off the approximately 10-foot-high diving board at the old pool in Superior before it was taken down, knows what a celebrated milestone it was.
