Man seriously injured after motorcycle crash in Iowa County

MINERAL POINT Wis. -- The Iowa County Sheriff's Office said a 50-year-old Lone Rock man is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Iowa County Saturday night.

Police officials said the man was traveling south bound on US Highway 151 near County Road in Mineral Point when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The man was located unconscious in the median and emergency services performed life-saving measures.

He was transported to a local hospital and later taken by U.W. Med Flight.

The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa County Sheriff's Office.
