Illuminate USA Continues Growth in Licking County, Ohio
Company Celebrates One Thousand Illuminators and One Million Solar Panels in less than One Year. Illuminate USA, an American leader in advanced solar panel manufacturing, this week announced the hiring of its one thousandth Ohioan associate (or ‘Illuminator’) and the production of its one millionth solar panel at its state-of-the-art facility in Pataskala, Ohio. These dual milestones were achieved less than six months since the start of production—a testament to the quality of the Ohio workforce and the speed with which Illuminate USA is onshoring American solar manufacturing.
Federal money to help Michigan begin slow work of rare turtle counts
State wildlife agencies in Michigan and Ohio have received nearly $500,000 in federal funding to study rare turtles. The grant is part of more than $7 million distributed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to benefit rare and declining fish and wildlife and their habitats across the country. Other states receiving funding under the program this year include Minnesota, Iowa, Hawaii and North and South Carolina.
