The Minnesota Gophers football commits 2025 tracker will keep you updated on everything you need to know about the Golden Gophers recruiting class. We’ll provide you stats, background info and more on all the Gophers commits in 2025.

While Minnesota isn’t one of the best football programs in the nation nor does it have one of the best recruiting classes in 2025, P.J. Fleck and the Gophers coaching staff do a great job adding talent. The Gophers have averaged 22 commits per season over the last two years and they’re on pace for that once again in 2025.

Let’s dive into our Minnesota Gophers recruiting tracker for the 2025 cycle.

Background, Stats On Minnesota Gophers Football Commits 2025

Jackson Kollock, QB, Laguna Beach HS (California)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 21st QB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 27th QB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 24th QB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 27th QB
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Jackson Kollock committed to the Minnesota Gophers on March 28, 2024 . A 6-foot-4 quarterback out of Laguna Beach, Pollock was previously committed to the Washington Huskies (Oct. 2023 – Jan. 2024) before flipping to the Gophers.

Kollock took an official visit to Minnesota on June 7 and chose the Gophers over offers from California, Colorado, Colorado State and Washington. Pollock transferred from Rancho Santa Margarita Catholic to Laguna Beach High School in 2022, becoming the starting quarterback as a sophomore.

    • Jackson Kollock stats ( MaxPreps ) : 3,174 passing yards, 57.7% completion rate, 41 passing touchdowns, 288.5 pass yg, 123.2 QB rating in 11 games last season

Bradley Martino, WR, Golden Gate HS (Florida)

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 14th ATH ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 36th ATH ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 39th ATH
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

One of the most recent additions to the Gophers recruiting class in 2025, Bradley Martino picked Minnesota over offers from Michigan State Florida Atlantic, FIU and Mississippi State.

A native of Naples, Florida, the 6-foot-3 athlete profiles as a wide receiver at the next level. Martino, who visited Minnesota on June 8, plays defensive back and wide receiver at the high school level.

    • Bradley Martino stats ( MaxPreps ) : 21 receptions, 455 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns, 21.7 yards per reception in 12 games last season

Naiim Parrish, CB, Bergen Catholic HS (New Jersey)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 93rd CB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 43rd ATH ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 96th CB
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Naiim Parrish, a 5-foot-11 cornerback, committed to the Gophers on June 9. A native of New Jersey, Parrish is a consensus three-star recruit with offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Duke, Wisconsin, and Penn State.

Minnesota’s securing of one of the more underrated prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle was a major win, especially with Parrish playing in a state (New Jersey) that the Gophers don’t always hit.

Jayquan Stubbs, DL, Cleveland Heights HS (Ohio)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 32nd DT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 59th DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 102nd DL
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

The Minnesota Gophers have won several head-to-head recruiting battles against the Wisconsin Badgers for 2025 prospects, including Jayquan Stubbs. An Ohio native, the 6-foot-6 defensive lineman projects to play multiple roles at the college level.

Allen Trieu of 247 Sports projects the 249-pound lineman as a starting-caliber player in a Power 4 conference. While he doesn’t have the size to be a three-down starter at defensive tackle, he is a two-sport athlete with movement skills that have helped him stand out in basketball. The athleticism is what makes Stubbs one of the highest-ceiling players among the Gophers commits.

Mark Handy, iOL, La Cueva HS (New Mexico)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 32nd OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 43rd iOL ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 106th OT
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

There’s plenty of debate within the industry regarding whether Mark Handy is an interior offensive lineman or an offensive tackle at the next level. One thing that’s obvious is he already has the size to play for a Power 4 team. A New Mexico native, Handy committed to the Gophers on June 16 after receiving offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, BYU and Duke.

One very intriguing thing from Handy’s background is his success in wrestling, where he posted a 24-0 record in his junior season. While only a three-star recruit, there are a lot of tools that could make Handy a starter for Minnesota down the line.

Emmanuel Karmo, EDGE, Robbinsdale Cooper HS (Minnesota)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 23rd OLB ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 23rd LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 76th LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 27th OLB
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

The Minnesota Gophers 2025 recruiting class features one of the best talents in the state . Emmanuel Karmo, a standout for Robbinsdale Cooper, is a 6-foot-3 linebacker with outstanding athleticism and versatility. He’s played both ways in high school, but Karmo’s long-term position is outside linebacker.

He’s proven capable of dropping back in coverage and boasts the speed and motor to make plays in the backfield. At his peak, Karmo could challenge for All-Conference honors.

    • Emmanuel Karmo stats: 48 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 15 receptions, 294 receiving yards, 4 total touchdowns (1 pick-six)

Abu Tarawallie, DL, Heritage Christian Academy (Minnesota)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 50th DT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 86th DT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 86th DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

One of several in-state commits, 6-foot-3 defensive lineman Abu Tarawallie also highlights the emphasis on trench players from the Gophers coaching staff. A top defensive tackle for the Heritage Christian Academy, Tarawallie visited Minnesota on June 8 and is one of three commits on the defensive line.

Amid interest from Kansas State, Michigan State and Oklahoma, Tarawallie opted to stay close to home and could develop into becoming a rotational defensive lineman for the Gophers.

Zac Stascausky, OT, Central Catholic HS (Oregon)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 71st OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 74th OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 66th OT
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

June proved to be a good month for the Gophers recruiting class, with Zac Stascausky among several of the players announcing their Minnesota commits days apart. Oregon isn’t typically a recruiting hotbed and the standouts inside the state typically stay close to home, but the Gophers landed offensive lineman Zac Stascausky. Minnesota offered him a scholarship on May 9, he was visiting campus a month later and committed on June 9.

Cross Nimmo, TE, Lake Catholic HS (Ohio)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 57th TE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 56th TE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 11th TE-Y
Composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

The Gophers recruiting battle for 6-foot-6 tight end Cross Nimmo might not be over. Marshall, Louisville and Rutgers remain in the mix for the Ohio native, but great recruiting my Minnesota’s Greg Harbaugh Jr. is making a difference.

Nimmo has the athleticism to make some plays after the catch, but he’ll never be elite in that area. However, Nimmo has also proven himself as a blocker and with time in the weight room and great coaching, he could become a quality starter for Minnesota.

    • Cross Nimmo stats: 30 receptions, 801 receiving yards, 15 touchdowns in junior season

Nick Spence, OL, Liberty HS (Arizona)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 79th OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 83rd OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 97th OT
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Nick Spence, 6-foot-6, is one of the top offensive line recruits from Arizona. The 280-pound tackle received scholarship offers from Colorado State, Iowa State, Duke, Idaho and San Diego State before committing to the Gophers. Spence committed to Minnesota after an official visit on June 8.

Enoch Atewogbola, EDGE, Avon HS (Indiana)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 74th EDGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 83rd EDGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 80th EDGE
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Avon High School edge rusher Enoch Atewogbola will have his work cut out for him in college, needing to add significant muscle to his 6-foot-4 and 215-pound frame. With that said that also means there’s significant projection with Atewogbola and highlights why he’s picked up multiple scholarship offers since April.

He’s also an excellent athlete, with a background in basketball as a small forward. Development will be key but the ceiling is higher with Atewogbola than many other Gophers commits.

Cameron Begalle, WR, Andover HS (Minnesota)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 128th WR ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 174th WR ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 114th WR
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Holding two offers from military schools (Air Force and Army), Cameron Begalle opted to stay close to home. The Andover High School standout was one of the most productive high school receivers in Minnesota as a junior and is rated as one of the best 2025 recruits in the state. Standing at 6 feet, the two-sport star (track) could develop into a complementary YAC threat for the Gophers offense in a few years.

    • Cameron Begalle stats ( MaxPreps ): 74 receptions, 1,252 receiving yards, 12 touchdowns, 1403. receiving yards per game

Related: Size of Minnesota Gophers 2025 recruiting class rivals anyone in the country

Zachry Harden, CB, Newton HS (Georgia)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 61st CB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 105th S ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 105th CB
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

One of two defensive backs among the Minnesota Gophers football commits 2025, 6-foot-2 cornerback Zachry Harden also drew interest from SEC programs like Arkansas and Auburn. The Georgia native recently received a scholarship offer from USC and premier Power 4 programs are showing increased interest in the fast-rising prospect. Harden’s length and athleticism are enticing and he could be one of the best finds in Minnesota’s class.

Shane Marshall, RB, Irwin County HS (Georgia)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 102nd RB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 85th RB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 36th RB
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Originally committed to South Florida, Irwin County running back Shane Marshall flipped to Minnesota this offseason. Standing at 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds, Marshall already has the size to receive touches at the college level. If he enrolls at Minnesota, Marshall should have a significant role in the Gophers backfield by 2026.

Nathan Cleveland, LB, Hoffman Estates HS (Illinois)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 79th LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 127th LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 49th LB
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

June was fantastic for the Minnesota Gophers recruiting efforts, with Nathan Cleveland among the handful of players pledging to Minnesota. A 6-foot-3 linebacker, Cleveland brings athleticism and intelligence stemming from his experience playing safety and quarterback at Hoffman Estates. Cleveland’s traits and size (6-foot-3) make him an intriguing prospect at inside linebacker.

Daniel Shipp, OT, Centennial HS (California)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 75th OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 114th OT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Strengthening the depth in the trenches remains an emphasis for Minnesota, with just under half a dozen offensive line commits a part of the 2025 recruiting class. Shipp didn’t get a ton of interest from Power 4 programs, with Black Hills State, Fresno State and Montana State among the programs to offer him.

He has the frame (6-foot-6) for a left tackle, but the Gophers coaching staff will likely want to add more thickness to his frame. Considering he missed his entire junior season (knee injury), there could be a lot more buzz surrounding Shipp towards the end of his senior season.

Rhett Hiavacka, EDGE, Fond Du Lac HS (Wisconsin)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 102nd LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 123rd EDGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 53rd ILB
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Another June commit, Rhett Hiavacka started generating a little attention from Power 4 schools after a breakthrough junior season. He then attended a Minnesota Gophers football camp, which caught the attention of Fleck and Co. Not long after the camp, Hiavacka committed to the Gophers and visited the school on June 15.

    • Rhett Hiavacka stats: 110 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3 sacks

Grant Washington, RB, St. Ignatius HS (Ohio)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

St. Ignatius running back Grant Washington put his talent on display during a Minnesota Gophers camp in early June and a day later had a scholarship offer. Within 24 hours, Minnesota had its second running back commit of the 2025 class and Washington has since visited campus. With competition only coming from Akron, Arkansas State and Army, Minnesota should feel secure about Washington’s commitment.

Colin Hansen, DL, Byron Senior HS (Minnesota)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 87th EDGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 181st DL ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 119th DE
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

The Gophers football camp for high school players proved to be quite beneficial, with P.J. Fleck and Co. finding several new recruits to target and picking up a few commits. Colin Hansen, a 6-foot-5 defensive lineman at Byron Senior, visited and committed to Minnesota in June. Hansen is a sport-athlete, also playing basketball for Byron.

Legend Lyons, WR, Charter Oak HS (California)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 188th WR ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 245th WR ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 155th WR
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

While Legend Lyons isn’t highly thought of by recruiting services, he’s generated attention from plenty of Power 4 programs. The 6-foot-2 wideout has offers from Arkansas, Utah, Oregon State, Washington State and Kansas, but he saw the best opportunity with Minnesota. Lyons could develop into a starter by his junior season, with contested-catch skills, ball tracking and toughness that should make him a reliable target for his college QB.

    • Legend Lyons stats ( MaxPreps ): 74 receptions, 950 receiving yards, 70 touchdowns, 12.8 yards per reception

Ethan Stendel, LB, Caledonia HS (Minnesota)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – N/A ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 43rd LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 187th LB ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 74th OLB
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

Before taking part in Minnesota’s football camp, 6-foot-2 linebacker Ethan Stendel had offers from Northern Iowa and North Dakota. He received a scholarship offer from the Gophers soon after his arrival and committed the same day.

Sendel’s high school coach raved about his competitiveness and motor and his athleticism. Stendel recorded a 6-4 in the high jump this year and he primarily played quarterback during his junior season, largely because of his athleticism. With more reps, Stendel could develop into a solid player.

Daniel Jackson, K, Alexandria Area (Minnesota)

    Rivals On3.com 247 Sports ESPN
    N/A N/A N/A N/A
composite recruiting rankings as of June 30, 2024

While kickers rarely get attention in the recruiting world, Daniel Jackson is an intriguing addition to the Gophers. In 2023, he made a 52-yard field goal and ended his junior season with a 73.3% field-goal conversion rate and a 95.7% success rate on extra-point attempts. Jackson is also good at kickoffs (82 percent touchback rate.
