Tangletown Gardens' Garden & Art Tour returns after 4-year hiatus

Garden lovers of South Minneapolis are getting the band back together.

Tangletown Gardens' 16th Garden and Art Tour is returning for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour of nearly a dozen "unique and notable" urban gardens will take place on Saturday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The self-guided tour, which started in 2005, runs through gardens across south Minneapolis, including the "bold and colorful botanical work" of this year's featured artist, painter and illustrator Bekah Worley .

It all leads back to Wise Acre Eatery, across the street from Tangletown Gardens, for a culminating event with live music from Theyself and a WiseBurger pop-up concept featuring pasture-raised beef and chemical-free seasonal produce sourced from the Tangletown Gardens farm.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 on the day of the event.
