The NFL world is mourning the tragic death of Minnesota Vikings 2024 fourth-round pick and cornerback Khyree Jackson, who was a college teammate of Las Vegas Raiders second-round pick and offensive lineman, Jackson Powers-Johnson.

Shortly after the devastating news broke, Powers-Johnson, who spent one season with Jackson at Oregon, took to social media to mourn the passing of his former college teammate.

"LOVE, PASSION, AND FIRE... rest easy my guy," Powers-Johnson wrote .

The Raiders also sent their condolences to the Vikings and Jackson's family.

"We are deeply saddened by the news of Khyree's passing," Vikings owners Mark and Zygi Wilf said in a statement. "Khyree had an extremely bright future ahead of him as a player, and it was clear he was dedicated to being a tremendous person who made a positive difference in people's lives.
