The Minnesota Vikings rank highly on the NFLPA report cards and for good reason. They operate at a high level on both a football and human level. During Monday's press conference with general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and head coach Kevin O'Connell, they proved it once again.

The Vikings will be doing multiple things to honor cornerback Khyree Jackson during the 2024 season.

    • Jackson's locker will go unused this season
    • They will cover a "significant portion" of funeral expenses
    • The team will wear helmet decals
    • Staff will receive pins to wear
    • Practice fields will have stenciling
    • Team will pay out entire signing bonus to Jackson's estate
    • O'Connell and Adofo-Mensah will lead contingent attending funeral

These are simple things that you implement because it's being a good human being. However, these things aren't always done by every organization.

They have also been told that the NFLPA will be supporting his estate through the process. Things have seemingly been handled the right way during the entire process.

The Vikings are doing a great job across the board.
