Exclusive Shark Warning Trailer for The Asylum’s Latest Creature Feature Movie

ComingSoon has an exclusive Shark Warning trailer, which unveils The Asylum‘s latest creature feature movie.

”After 20 years, a man returns to the town where his brother was killed by a shark. But when it resurfaces and kills again, the man decides to hunt down the predator to stop it once and for all.” reads the synopsis for Shark Warning.

You can check out the Shark Warning Trailer below (

What happens in the Shark Warning trailer?

The Shark Warning trailer gives off a more serious vibe than The Asylum’s most notorious shark movies, such as Sharknado. It actually comes across a bit like a reimagining of Jaws: The Revenge. Seems like a more innovative strategy for a shark movie to better that film instead of chasing the original Jaws.

Shark Warning is directed by Jimmy Gadd and written by Ryan Ebert (Shark Side of the Moon, Megalodon: The Frenzy). Its cast includes David Chokachi (Baywatch), Andrew J. Katers (Prepare to Die), and Angela Cole (Nix). The official art is also here to gawp at—a simple, effective shark movie poster design.

You can catch Shark Warning in select theaters (detailed below) from July 26, 2024. A digital release for the movie follows on July 30, 2024.

    Shark Warning theaters

    • Laemmle Glendale (Glendale, CA)
    • Hickory Ridge Cinemas (Brunswick, OH)
    • Trylon Cinema (Minneapolis, MN)
    • Film Noir Cinema (Brooklyn, NY)
    • Aurora Cineplex (Roswell, GA)

The Asylum has a penchant for low-budget mockbusters. Most recently, it took on the box office smash Twisters with its own take titled The Twisters.
