The Paris Olympics have arrived. The Opening Ceremony takes place on Friday, July 26, and then it's two weeks of non-stop sports, sports, and more sports.
There are plenty of big events, whether it's soccer, athletics, gymnastics, or the many Minnesotans competing for a gold medal. It's hard enough to figure out when things are airing on TV, so we're taking the guesswork out of where to watch the Games around the Twin Cities.
We've put together a list of area bars that promise to show the Olympics and maybe even host a watch party with specials around bigger events.
Here's where to go if you're hoping to take in the 2024 Paris Olympics with some friends:

A Bar of Their Own The instantly beloved new bar , a sports bar focused on women's sports, will be playing live events and prime-time replays. It will focus on airing women's soccer and other women's competitions. More watch parties may be announced, but it'll be airing the July 28 game between the U.S. women's soccer team and Germany at 2 p.m. 2207 Franklin Avenue E, Minneapolis
Brit's Pub Brit's Pub says it'll have the Games on many of its screens throughout the Olympics. It'll be showing men's and women's soccer games, in particular, when they're available. 1110 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis
La Doña Cerveceria Of course La Doña is showing soccer matches. It's kind of its thing. (There's a soccer field right at the brewery .). It'll focus on showing U.S. and Latin American national team games. 241 Fremont Avenue North, Minneapolis
Padraigs Brewing Padriags will have the Olympics on its eight TVs. There aren't any watch parties scheduled, yet. But it's keeping an eye on gymnastics and basketball in particular, they tell Bring Me The News. 945 Broadway St NE, Minneapolis
Other bars that will play the Olympics in Minneapolis:
400 Tavern : 1330 Industrial Blvd. NE Suite 400, Minneapolis
Red Cow : 2626 Hennepin Ave.; 208 N 1st Ave.; and 3624 W 50th Street, Minneapolis

Alary's Bar The newly reopened Alary's will have the Olympics on daily from 4 p.m. to midnight, except on Aug. 1 when the Chicago Bears have a preseason game. It's a Bears bar, after all. 139 E 7th St., St. Paul
Black Hart of St. Paul Unsurprisingly, the bar beloved by soccer fans will be playing Olympic events as often as possible, with a focus on the U.S. men's and women's soccer matches. The bar will even open early for those matches. 1415 University Ave. W, St. Paul.
Groveland Tap While there aren't any watch parties scheduled, the restaurant and bar will have the Olympics on whenever it's open. It's a good pick because it also has TVs on the patio. 1834 St Clair Ave, St. Paul
Other bars that will play the Olympics in St. Paul:
Hackamore Brewing The brewery says it'll have the Olympics on all of its TVs during the Games, unless there's another Minnesota sports team playing, in which case they'll split the focus between the two events. 18651 Lake Dr. E, Chanhassen
