MINNEAPOLIS — High pressure is moving in on Friday, bringing back sunshine to wrap up the week in the Twin Cities.

Temps jump right back up near 90 degrees with plenty of humidity.

Saturday is hot and dry, too, but a front will drop south and throw a few showers and storms across the area into the night. There is a low chance of wind and hail.

That front stalls out across southern Minnesota on Sunday and may spark a few more isolated storms, but there is some uncertainty about that.

Monday brings a better chance for rain as a wave of energy rides east along the front.

The bigger story on Monday and beyond will be a cooldown with high temps back in the 70s.

There's another chance for storms toward Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
