A former Washington Commanders draft pick has finally found a home for training camp before the season.

Fabian Moreau was one of the more notable draft picks by the Commanders in recent times and has signed on with the Minnesota Vikings, a team in desperate need of help at the position after Mekhi Blackmon suffered a torn ACL.

The Commanders brought Moreau into the league via the third round in 2017, and he spent four productive years with the team, notably easing the transition away from the likes of Josh Norman. At the time, fans viewed the pick as a huge value because the UCLA product seemed to fall largely due to his injury history.

Even last year, though, Moreau was a solid presence in the defensive backfield for Denver, defending seven passes with an interception—after signing late in the offseason process there, too.

Washington has since moved on with the likes of first-rounder Emmanuel Forbes Jr. to varying degrees of success.
