What to do for Easter? More and more families are eating out or taking out food. I’ve noticed fewer take-out kits this year and more of a return to brunch in restaurants. Here are some of the best options for your family’s celebration. Easter is early this year, on March 31, so make reservations now if you’re planning to dine out.

Travail : Designed to serve 4-6 people, Travail’s Easter box includes a selection of dishes, ranging from traditional favorites like glazed ham and gratin potatoes to delightful surprises such as Dijon-glazed salmon, fried potato julienne, and asparagus with a smoked lemon butter hollandaise. With step-by-step instructions provided, preparing this feast is stress-free. Complementing the flavors, Travail’s sommelier has curated wine-pairing suggestions. Cost starts at $180.

Animales BBQ : A hot and ready-to-eat Easter meal kit, this set is ready for pick up from 10 a.m. to noon Easter morning at the trailer located behind BauHaus BrewLabs. It includes one locally and humanely raised smoked Duroc pork shoulder, one pint of mustard-butter Ssauce, one pan of mac and cheese, and one quart of turmeric-dill pickles, $120.

Mara at Four Seasons Minneapolis : Easter brunch includes an array of buffet options from a live carving station to an egg station, where chefs are making dishes to order. On the sweet side, Executive Pastry Chef Eddy Dhenin is artfully creating an elegant dessert display with treats like danishes, cakes, pies, and mini desserts. A Champagne cart and a Bloody Mary offering with all of the fixings provide libations throughout brunch. Cost is $45 to $95 per person.

The Lexington : Visit with the Easter Bunny and enjoy an a la carte menu of brunch favorites, including two kinds of eggs Benedict, three-egg omelets, French toast, waffles and more. Both brunch and full dinner menu are available from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and the full dinner menu is available until a 7 p.m. final seating.

Hewing Hotel : There’s an Easter egg hunt for adults ages 21-plus from 4-5 p.m. Hidden in the hotel lobby are Easter eggs filled with grown-up treats, including complimentary cocktails, charcuterie, and even a one-night stay at the Hewing Hotel.

Tullibee : For $60 per person, enjoy a pastry basket plus choice of egg dishes and other brunch options on Easter Sunday.

Butcher & the Boar : Easter brunch buffet featuring brunch offerings, plus an omelet station and house smoked ham carving. Buffet is $55 per person, kids under age 12 are $20 per person, and bottomless mimosas are $17.

Kendall’s Tavern & Chophouse : Easter brunch buffet is $39.95 per person, kids ages 3-12 are $19.95 each, and kids under 3 are free.

Stockyards Tavern & Chophouse : An Easter menu includes traditional eggs Benedict ($15.95), cinnamon roll French Toast ($16.95), honey-glazed ham ($23.95), and prime rib ($38.95).

Tria Restaurant: Easter Brunch buffet is $59.95 for adults and $24.95 for kids ages 3-11.

The St. Paul Grill :  Serving regular menu along with features from 4-8 p.m., reservations are recommended

Me & Julio: A family-style Easter brunch featuring a variety of breakfast classics is available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mill Valley Kitchen: An extensive buffet-style brunch, including carving station and dessert stations is available from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Cost is $45 per person and $15 each for children.

Yankee Tavern: A contender for one of the best value all-you-can-eat Easter buffets around, the spread includes ham, fried chicken, Cajun hash, French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheesy hash browns, gravy, mac and cheese, salads, mini-croissants, fresh fruit and veggies, biscuits and a build-your-own sundae dessert station. Cost is $29.99 per person and $11.99 each for children. The Easter Bunny visits from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tattersall in River Falls: Spend your Easter at Tattersall River Falls for a delightful spread of all your favorites paired with brunch cocktails. Plus, get exclusive deals in the market all weekend long with anannual Easter egg hunt. Easter Brunch buffet costs $39.50 per person and kids under age 16 are $18 each. Children under age 4 are free.

Victoria or Oakdale Burrow : The buffet includes waffle station, made-to-order omelets,
cinnamon French toast, carving Sstation with house-smoked brisket and apricot maple glazed ham, smoked salmon, and more. Walk-ins only. Cost is $28.95 per person and kids under 12 are $12.95 each.
