Hoorsenbuhs Trunk Show Stuns at the Four Seasons Minneapolis

Tucked away inside North Loop luxury retailer MartinPatrick3 , you’ll quite literally find a hidden gem — The Loupe Jewelry. Stocked with one-of-a-kind treasures from accessory designers across the world, the appointment-only boutique offers seasonally curated selections of fine jewelry and accessories, alongside personal styling and bespoke services. Together, The Loupe and MartinPatrick3 put on 20 trunk shows per season, one of which played out across the terrace of the Four Seasons Minneapolis on June 13.

Accompanied by a colorful array of light bites from James Beard Award-winning c hef Gavin Kaysen’s Mara , music by DJ Cousin Christopher , and cocktails by Marco Zappia from 3Leche , the event starred a stunning collection of handmade jewelry and eyewear by Hoorsenbuhs , a Los Angeles-based luxury brand carried by The Loupe.

“Hoorsenbuhs comes out twice a year for a trunk show, and our summer show is usually our biggest,” shares Anthony Serino, Director of Marketing for both MartinPatrick3 and The Loupe. “It’s a perfect way to kick off summer and reconnect with clients and friends.”

Serino describes Hoorsenbuhs as one of their most “fashion forward” designers, a favorite among artists and musicians in LA. The event showcased just a small sampling from the extensive collection brought in by Hoorsenbuhs, the entirety of which will be housed at The Loupe Thursday through Sunday. The brand is distinguished by its trademark “tri-link,” a nautical motif which symbolizes beauty, strength, and opulence.

And opulent it certainly was. Brand ambassador Gilbert Montoya made this clear when he walked me through the show’s sampling, which included, among its many enchantments, an 18-karat yellow gold bracelet with full diamond pavé, featuring over 4,000 diamonds, all set by hand.

“We stand by the old artisan way of making jewelry.” Montoya shares, “All of our offerings are hand-assembled, and have a unique strength to them. You can feel it in the weight,” he says, after which he drops one of Hoorsenbuhs’ tri-link rings into the palm of my hand. Detailed with diamond-set bridges, I was struck by the density of the dainty, sparkling band.

The Loupe exhibits a commitment to this level of craftmanship when sourcing its designers. “I would say that over 80% of our designers curate one-of-a-kind collections,” says Serino; a testament to the kind of careful artisanship that ensures no two pieces are exactly alike.

Stop into The Loupe this weekend to shop the Hoorsenbuhs Takeover , available only through June 16.
