Chef Reactions social media account is heading to the Minnesota State Fair

The social media star behind @ChefReactions is heading to the Minnesota State Fair .

"Minnesota State Fair…. I’m bringing my stretchy pants," the chef, who keeps his identity anonymous, said on Twitter.

For now, there hasn't been an announcement of any public event. However, his announcement did get responses from local outlets and he made an ambitious public request to throw out the first pitch at a Twins game while he's in town.

The hugely popular account — 3.6 million followers on TikTok and 1.5 million on Instagram — posts split-screen videos reacting to social media chefs' recipes.

His deadpan reactions are routinely harsh, even if regularly admits he'd give it a try. (Though, if it's a grandmother's recipe, it's safe to assume he's giving it 10 out of 10 or better.)

(Yes, better is an option.)

Over the last year, he's strayed from the reaction formula, at least on YouTube, with travel videos about trips to Miami, Disneyland, and Chicago, among other destinations.

Chef Reactions didn't respond to a request for comment, but the Minnesota State Fair would fit in quite nicely with that series.

We look forward to seeing Deep Fried Ranch Dressing get a "0 out of 10, but I'd try it."
