Harris’s Tim Walz selection is a gift for Republicans

In an act of stupidity, Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as her running mate for the presidential election. Make no mistake: This is a gift to former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party that they must seize with all their strength.

For weeks, questions swirled regarding the white man who would be chosen as Harris’s partner in crime. Not actual real-life questions, of course, because Harris has avoided the media like the plague.

Figures such as Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg were in the running, but perhaps Harris was worried that he had spent his entire time as secretary of transportation either on paternity leave or simply missing from the office. But in all seriousness, it was assumed by those who live in political reality that Harris was going to choose between two strong candidates: Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) and Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

Shapiro was the obvious pick in a world that isn’t hijacked by radical Islamists and purple-haired lunatics. As a reasonably popular governor of the swing state with 19 highly contested electoral votes up for grabs, he would have delivered Pennsylvania for free, thereby putting the Trump campaign on the ropes. Even Kelly would have almost certainly delivered Arizona for Harris, handing her campaign the state’s 11 electoral votes, again, for free.

But Harris looked at the astronaut and said “nah,” and looked at Shapiro and said “too Jewish,” and instead of attempting to moderate her campaign and pick up a swing state, she chose a man who makes Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) look like former Libertarian Texas Rep. Ron Paul: Walz.

Let’s take a quick stroll, or waltz, through Walz’s political career. He fecklessly oversaw riots in Minneapolis, Minnesota, enabling the very same rioters Harris worked to bail out of jail. He is an open border advocate, saying he wants to provide a “ ladder ” for people to cross the border wall. He was responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars worth of fraud under his watch during COVID-19.

He is the driving force behind some of the most radical child transgender surgery laws in the nation. He is the face of the state’s radical abortion policies, which allow even newborns to be denied life-saving care. And, of course, he has called Trump and his supporters “ fascists .”

Ideologically, he’s Harris with a slightly better sense of humor.

But while Walz’s radicalism certainly raises the stakes, it doesn’t change the fact that his bizarre selection is a golden opportunity for Trump and his campaign. For the next few months, the sole focus must be painting a picture of what America would become under these two unbridled and unapologetic far-left Democrats.

Concerned about the economy? Harris cheered on Bidenomics.

Concerned about the border? Walz wants to give illegal immigrants a ladder to get into the country.

Concerned about crime? Harris and Walz cheered while rioters burned down Minneapolis.

Concerned about foreign policy? Harris surrendered to the Hamas wing of her party, and Walz is best friends with volunteer Hamas spokeswoman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Harris just gave voters one gigantic reason to vote for Trump this November. Only one question remains: Will Republicans take advantage of this gift?
