Attention fiscal watchdogs and concerned citizens of Duluth! A critical discussion is on the horizon that promises to shed light on Minnesota's expanding welfare system and its implications for the state's economic health. The American Experiment, along with its Duluth Chapter, is hosting a thought-provoking event titled "Ticking Time Bomb! Minnesota's vast expanding welfare system and other wasteful spending."

Scheduled for Thursday, May 9th from 5pm to 7pm, this gathering is set to take place at the historic Malting Building, located at 2907 Helm St, Duluth, MN. The evening will feature a deep dive into the recent expansions of the welfare system by Minnesota lawmakers, which have added billions of dollars to Health and Human Services, ballooning the state's welfare system to sizes never seen before.

Guest speakers Martha Njolomole and Bill Walsh will lead the conversation, providing insights into how this surge in government spending could spell trouble for Minnesota's budget, welfare recipients, taxpayers, and the overall economy. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in this timely discussion while enjoying a selection of appetizers. A cash bar will also be available to complement the evening's fare.

Whether you're deeply invested in state policy or simply a taxpayer concerned about fiscal responsibility, this event is an opportunity to become better informed and join a crucial conversation about the future of Minnesota's economy. Don't miss out on this enlightening experience.
