Edgecomb’s 250th Birthday Committee has arranged a self-guided Shop Crawl to celebrate Edgecomb’s creative artisans and the extraordinary handcrafted work they produce. Matching grant helps restore historic building
HOLDEN--The historic Holden Town Hall building is getting a much needed upgrade. The two-story building, located on the Main Road in Holden, was built back in the 1870s when bathrooms were not indoors. Now, thanks to a $25,000 matching grant from the Lawrence Family Foundation, a bathroom is finally being added to the historic building and the first floor is also getting insulated.
