Arrest made in connection with ongoing Maine death investigation
Police say an arrest has been made in connection with an ongoing death investigation in Maine. Maine State Police said their Major Crimes Unit is investigating a death reported in Cushing on Friday. They said evidence response technicians were at an address on River Road on Friday and Saturday conducting interviews and processing the scene.

A Maine man has been arrested following an incident that allegedly unfolded on Sunday morning, according to police. WGME 13 is reporting on Monday morning Rockland, Maine police responded to calls of someone being assaulted somewhere in town (the scene location was immediately made available). Callers that reported the crime indicated the victim appeared to be on his hands and knees as he was taking kicks to the face from the alleged assailant.

ROCKPORT (WGME) -- Crews rescued the driver of an SUV after they drove down a mountain bike trail in Rockport and got stuck. The Rockport Fire Department says they got a call around 6 p.m. on Sunday from the driver of a Toyota RAV 4 who was lost and stuck on the Round the Mountain Trail somewhere in Rockport near Route 17.
