North Dakota State Fair Parade closes roads in Minot

MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — Many roads in Minot are going to be closed during the morning of July 20.

According to Minot city officials, the ND Fair Parade is taking place and will be taking up Burdick Expressway.

The parade will start at the intersection of 18th Avenue SW and South Broadway, and proceed to Burdick. From there, the route will continue and end at the State Fairgrounds.

Before the parade begins, there will be a “Run the Route 5K” starting at 8:45 a.m.

Traffic will be blocked by police officers starting at 8 a.m. at South Broadway, then at 8:30 a.m., Burdick will be blocked.

Drivers are asked to please use alternate routes.
