MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — The Minot Honeybees will take the field as the Minot Bombshells on their final game of the season for Military Appreciation Night.

After a great season, the team will honor the Air Force tradition through this one-night-only rebrand on Wednesday, July 31.

The players will have specially designed jerseys that will be auctioned off with all the proceeds benefitting the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

“Playing as an alternate identity for promotional nights is a huge part of a summer collegiate and minor league baseball, and we’re excited to bring that to Northwoods League Softball,” said Honeybees General Manager Monica Hocking. “The Bombshells is a super fun brand that allows us to celebrate the strength and resilience of our military men and women, and the trailblazing spirit of the women who inspire us.”

Tickets are available , and fans can celebrate the occasion with a custom souvenir cup, a ticket to the games, and a 16-ounce draft beer (or 1919 Root Beer) for just $15.
