MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — Not a lot of people stay at the same job for decades, but two City of Minot sanitation workers have done just that.

Scott Hamel and Josh Kraft are both celebrating their 25th anniversary with the City of Minot.

Hamel, who works as a garbage truck driver, is described by his coworkers as one of the best.

Kraft is a superintendent who has been with the sanitation department since he was 16 years old.

Kraft now oversees the Minot recycling program in his role as superintendent and hopes to remain working with the city for many years to come.

“25 years has flown by very fast. They always say ‘Do something you enjoy and call it work,’ well that’s me. I enjoy getting up in the morning and enjoy coming to work. It’s a great place and have met a lot of great people,” said Kraft.

Both Hamel and Kraft were recently praised for their years of service by the City of Minot.
