LilynLeo Cafe in Fullerton, CA

Before this cafe was bought out back in March, it used to be another coffee shop that I stumbled upon last year because they are located 2 min away from my grandma's nursing home. When I went back this year, I noticed the change in the interior and the completely different vibe that was modern, classy and cute. The owner was there to explain about her background and what motivated this whole concept of offering cute tea sets and extraordinary espresso drinks. She went to art school in the past and you can see her creative talent expressed all over the cafe. Nestled in a quaint street bordered by St. Jude hospital and medical buildings, most of the foot traffic comes from patients and medical staff working near by. What's intriguing about this cafe is that the vibe is super soft and relaxing to enjoy your tea and finish reading a novel.

Surprisingly their pastries are pretty darn good and it's something I like to pick up every time I go here to pick up coffee. And speaking of coffee, it's not like that burnt Starbucks extra strong and bitter tasting mess. They serve this smooth dark roast that's brewed so perfectly that I end up ordering a large. My grandma loves the danish because it's soft, sweet and buttery. The muffins aren't sugary but has a nice fluffy texture with the right amount of sweetness. I'm a fan of sweets but really dislike the dense sugary pastries that has sugar dominating the taste. Definitely pick up a muffin, croissant or danish when you're here!

Notice all the blue hue interior? It's so welcoming and gives that fresh spring time feeling every time I walk in here. Total boutique bougie vibe where you would want to lift that pinky finger drinking that cup of tea! The sandwich is huge and loaded with so much ham, veggies on this thick foccacia bread! Great place to hang out with your girlfriends!

Need a tea set? This box contains the tea pot, cup, teas and candies to complete your tea party at home! Your daughter would love to receive this one as a gift too! Perhaps when this Covid settles, you can bring your daughter here for a birthday tea party! It'll be the best kid friendly ambience to gather all their friends and celebrate a cute tea party!
