Ibasa Tacos and Elotes

There's a lot of options when it comes to a great taco and burrito place all over the city. But one place really stands out enough for you to keep going back and support them. The owner and his family run this small restaurant inside Haven City. The husband and wife are one of the sweetest people who work tiredlessly to succeed during this rough patch due to the pandemic. One of my favorite things to order at Ibasa is their carne asada burrito. This burrito is filled with juicy flavorful and perfectly marinated beef, delicious rice, beans, onions and cilantro. Just look at the picture and tell me what you think? Keep salivating because this burrito is amazing!

My first mulitas experience didn't disappointment and this is something that I'm trying to master and make at home when I just want a snack in the middle of the day. But that impossible to do when Ibasa hand presses their own house made tortillas. The ones I buy in that plastic package and sold commercially in every grocery doesn't quite taste the same. Look at that cheese just ozzing in between the tortillas. Grab a beer, put on your favorite show and devour some mulitas! Ibasa also has some yummy shrimp tacos, al pastor and many other choices. Their elotes are freshly prepped and the corn is roasted outside every day. Rain or shine, I always see the corn roasting away and love that smell as I enter the food hall. On your next visit, grab one of their elotes as a side appetizer along with their burritos, tacos and mulitas! They also have assorted beer to wash down the tasty green and red sauce that is on another level of deliciousness! Go and celebrate taco tuesday over the weekend and stock up on your Mexican eats only at Ibasa!
