    Three Starkville city employees arrested for stealing rolls of trash bags

    Three city employees in Starkville have been arrested and charged with stealing rolls of trash bags according to a press release from teh Starkville Police.

    On Tuesday, July 30th, the Starkville Police Department arrested three individuals for embezzlement, spcifically fraud committed in public office.

    The suspects have been identified as 20 year old Dylan Coleman of Sturgis, 31 year old Douglas Erwin of Starkville, and 30 year old Stevenson Tutton, Jr. of Starkville. These three were employees of the City of Starkville Sanitation Department at the time of the incidents.

    The trio is charged with stealing rolls of trash bags from the sanitation department. The bags are part of the City's annual program that supplies garbage bags to residents free of charge.

    The suspets remain in the Oktibbeha County Jail.
