Two Crashes in Guntown caused by Car Driving in Wrong Direction

Two crashes happened seconds apart as a result of a car going in the wrong direction on Saturday afternoon on Highway 45 in Guntown.

According the Guntown Police, a car traveling southbound moved into the northbound lane north of Main Street, and when an SUV swerved out of the way to avoid hitting it, the SUV lost control and rolled over several times.

The driver of the car continued south in the wrong lane toward Messner Street and then collided with another vehicle.

Drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and passenger in the car that was struck was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
