Accidental Gun Discharge Causes Alarm in Pearl Cracker Barrel

Those dining at Cracker Barrel on Riverwind Drive today recieved a surprise with their chicken and dumplings.

Pearl Police Department was called the Pearl restaruant on reports of a shots fired inside. Officers discovered when they arrived that the shots were due to an accidental discharge from a person dining inside.

It is unclear if charges will made yet, as officers are assessing the situation to determine if they are warranted. However, they did say in a Facebook post that here is no immediate threat to the local area.

They also added, "This is a stark reminder that if you are going to conceal carry, please use caution and remember to safely transport/conceal the firearm. Thankfully nobody was injured and all the front porch checkers games are able to resume!!!"
