    Loaded Gun Brought to Prentiss County School by Student

    A Thrasher School student was taken into custody after he brought a loaded gun onto campus Monday morning.

    According to Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar, the child brought a 9mm handgun onto Thrasher School campus and pointed it at another child in the bathroom.

    The student was taken into custody and brought to a juvenile detention center in Corinth. He will face charges, and an investigation will be made on campus by officers, according to Tolar.

    The student fired no shots, and no one was harmed due to the incident.

    That's where most of this stems from kids being bullied. The kids may tell a teacher are principal and nothing is done. They don't take the child serious when they tell them. And kids get tired of being bullied and they are scared to fight so they bring guns to stop it. And there no reason for it to go so far. Parents talk to your children and find out if the are being bullied they talk too the school. There has to be common ground.
