Lamar County Sheriff's Office Reports Runaway Juvenile

The Lamar County Sheriff's Office has issued an alert for a missing fourteen year old girl.

The child, identified as Nicole Jones, reportedly left home on September 8, 2024. Jones was last seen in the area of Pine Crest Road in Purvis, according to a press release from the Lamar County Sheriff's Office.

Jones is said to have left home between approximately 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., according to the Sheriff's office. There is no clothing description for what she was wearing at the time that she left her home.

The Sheriff's Office has requested that any citizens with information come forward. Contact the Sheriff's Office at 601.794.8610 to share information on the whereabouts of Nicole Jones.
