Co-Founder of Three 6 Mafia Ministers to Tippah County Prisoners

Patrick Earl Houston, the rapper also known as Project Pat, a Memphis native that co-founded, along with his brother Juicy J, the rap groupThree 6 Mafia brought a message of hope to Tippah County prisoners this week.

Project Pat has been touring prisons and jails across the country for several years to spread Jesus Christ after spending most of his time as an inmate himself during the 1990's and early 2,000's for aggravated robbery, illegally carrying a weapon, violation of his parole.

Now, his non-profit organization GoFoundation has ministered to over 4,000 inmates over the past few years, according to the organization's Instagram.

According to their website, Go Foundation began in 2021 when Houston "got a lead from the Holy Spirit to go into prisons and minister to inmates." He teamed up with Michael Brown, who had already been doing youth ministry. In addition to prison ministry, they also have a YouTube podcast aimed at outreach.

The Tippah County Correction Center announced the visit on their Facebook page with photos and the following comment:

"Experiencing the profound wisdom and knowledge of a remarkable individual like Mr. Patrick Houston, aka 'Project Pat', is truly transformative. We are deeply grateful for this special appearance and presence of such a great God fearing man in our jail ministry session, sharing his gifts and insights with us. The offenders truly enjoyed themselves and were definitely impacted but such a relatable testimony..
