    Lee County Sheriff Provides Update on Missing Man

    An extensive team of Mississippi officials are still searching for a missing man.

    On Monday evening, Lee County Sheriff Jim H. Johnson announced that after two days of searching, the man who was swept away in Duggar Creek has still not been located.

    According to a press release from Lee County Sheriff's Department, the search is moving downstream into Itawamba County. The search was called off for the night, but is poised to resume on Tuesday morning.

    The team searching for the missing man consists of the Lee and Itawamba County Sheriff's Departments, The Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks, Tupelo Fire Department Swiftwater Teams, local volunteer fire departments, and EMA agencies from both Lee and Itawamba County.

    More information will be provided as it is released.
