    Shooting into a Motor Vehicle Arrest Made for Okolona Man

    2024-09-17

    Tupelo Police Department served an Okolona man a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant on September 16, 2024.

    According to a press release from Tupelo Police Department, Malik Huddleston, 19, was served with the warrant in relation to a 2024 report of an individual shooting into a vehicle.

    The shooting occured after a physical altercation. There was no report made of injury from the gunfire.

    According to the release, Huddleston was ordered to be held on a $25,000 bond at the time the warrant was issued. The case is currently awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
